FEBRUARY FUN AT ISLAND YARN
SKACEL TRUNK SHOW - FEB 7 - FEB 25
Be inspired by an amazing array of samples in all of the Schoppel Wolle and Schulana yarns we love.
There will be something for everyone from beginner to expert and from cradle to rocking chair, so come see what you must have and we'll help you along with a nice discount on all of the project yarns.
FELTING DEMONSTRATION - SAT, FEB 11, 11 - 2
Fiber artist, button maker and painter, Eileen Petrie,
will demonstrate a variety of felting techniques that do not require knitting or crochet expertise.
If "nuno" sounds like a foriegn language to you, come by and see what nuno felting is all about.

Join us on the third Sunday of every month from 1-4.
Bring your favorite beverage and your current IYB project and
click your needles with us and/or
take part in whatever special "something" we'll have going on to keep our gathering fun.

Join us for some uninterrupted stitching time - no kids, no husbands, no pets!
This month we'll have a trunk show from Skacel for your viewing pleasure as well as the
annual shop sample sale in case there is something you'd rather buy than make.
And maybe, just maybe we'll all get a little stitching done as well!
KNIT FOR THE NEWBORNS
Knit/crochet for the newborns at Baltimore Washington Hospital Center.
The nursery is in need of hats to warm small heads.
Drop by the shop for a free pattern and we'll make sure the completed caps get to the babies.
